For more than two decades I have been a partner at The Strategic Planning Group, working with senior executives to help them agree on and articulate their vision and mission, identify and align around a strategic plan of action, and develop organizational structures, roles, and effective management practices to achieve their aspirations while profitably creating value for customers, employees, investors, and the communities in which they live and work.
I am the author of The Business of Walt Disney and the Nine Principles of His Success and most recently, two books on the strategic planning process: Understanding and Creating Vision and Mission Statements and Understanding and Creating Strategic Performance Indicators and Business Scenarios. I am also the author of Free Will: Sam Harris Has It (Wrong) and No Choice but to Choose. My articles have appeared in Rotman Magazine, Ivey Business Journal, and The Economist Intelligence Unit.
